lately i've been spotting lots of things that remind me of my childhood. i was just on weheartit and i spotted this

yes yes.... Mr. R.L Stine's GOOSEBUMPS! these stories were freaky, creepy and downright scary (well at that age they were!) i remember the tv shows as well. hahha.... those were the days!

and also, today while out with mumsy i spotted THIS

OMG! now this was my shiiitttt! it wasn't called Skipper though, it was called Skip It! this Skipper crap looks cheap and not as fun but Skip It was AWESOME!

The 2nd book to the Dragon Girl trilogy!!!! i got it yesterday from Target but i have yet to read the first page.... i really don't know what i'm waiting for, cuz i'm sooo anxious. but i think what it is, is that i want to start reading only at the time when i know i'll have complete silence and be able to concentrate ONLY on the book! lol i know it sounds extreme, but yes... i'm THAT excited about it!!!! Oh and did i mention that i seen the movie for the first book, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo... well yeah, it was pretty damn good for a movie inspired by a book. of course it was incredibly graphic, which is no surprise because the book was just the same, or even more so. and like i said before, if you can't stomach certain situations, as far as MAJOR abuse and crimes towards women, then i suggest you steer clear of the book and the movie. BUT if you're up for some extreme suspense and mystery then i HIGHLY suggest you read these three novels!!!!!!

I can't wait to start!!!

I soooo miss this type of music. I LOVE hip hop! but not the crappy ass so called hip hop we have playing on the radio today... I'm talking about the old stuff.... late 80's but mostly 90's music. I love it, I love it allllll... it was just so simple and yet so damn good! Here are two of my favorite songs from A Tribe Called Quest. if you look at these videos, there's no booty shaking girls (although a few years later, Q-Tip does make some booty shaking videos), theres no over the top graphics and extreme effects, nothing.... just a good video that goes well with the song... unlike many of the videos today where what we're watching has absolutely nothing to do with the song. 

i have nooooo love for the music today.... it just sickens me. except! believe it or not, i do like some, SOME of the rap from downsouth..... hahha! yep... they tend to have some pretty good beats, which is what attracts me most to a song..... anywho, take a listen to these songs... brings back goooood memories doesn't it :)

but seriously, I realllllly want one like RIGHT NOW (hey! i deserve it, i've been eating really well lately!) I've got a box of brownie mix, but guess what? We have NO EGGS?!?!? guess that goes to show that i shouldn't be eating no damn brownies, deserve it or not lol.

in case you're curious, here's some insight into how busy i've actually been lol

March... my busiest month...

and here's April, which is turning out to be pretty busy as well

i can feel May being just as hectic... final papers, final exams.... and finally summer! i'll be taking more classes but most likely only about 2, so a lot more free time is highly expected!

you know....

...sometimes i don't even realize how long i've been gone.

Granted, i have been busy now with work and school but honestly sometimes, like on the weekends, i actually do have time to blog. i just never get up and go on the computer. i'm not one to be on the computer very often, but when i do get on, i'm on for HOURS! lol But seriously though, i really want to get back to blogging everyday to almost everyday. what can i say.... I miss it! there are a few things i wish i had though, that i think will make my blogging experience even more fun! hopefully i'll be getting those things soon!

So anyway, work has been good. It's definitely not a bad job... it's pretty fun and laid back, which is perfect for me! i'm still adjusting to waking up at 5:30am.... it's definitely rough. hopefully for the summer i'll be able to change up my schedule and get in a bit more hours of sleep at night.

Until then, raccoon eyes in the morning are still in full effect.

yep, i'm just as surprised as this guy

ok so i'm a little late on the first of April post.... wellll so what... i've been super busy... super tired... super everything. This past week i started training for work and let me tell you.... waking up at 5:30am is noooo joke. pretty much the entire week i was getting less than 4 hours of sleep and only about once did i get a full nights rest. it was tough (some Spring Break huh?), but i think by the time this week passes, it'll come natural. April, i think will be a pretty chilled month. I don't have much due for school..... but then again right as May starts I'll have tons of things due. i'm really trying to prepare myself for the transition of working early and going to school right after. there will be NO MORE procrastinating homework and papers until the next morning because there won't be a next morning to do it..... it's really just time to buck down and get serious. Anyhow, i'm glad April is here... March is over... and May is one month away.... and you know what that means.... Schooolllll'ssss Out For SUMMER! lol.... NOT! i'm definitely taking summer classes so summer break doesn't officially apply to me... hahhha... (i'm actually crying inside)
