Listen to: A Tribe Called Quest

I soooo miss this type of music. I LOVE hip hop! but not the crappy ass so called hip hop we have playing on the radio today... I'm talking about the old stuff.... late 80's but mostly 90's music. I love it, I love it allllll... it was just so simple and yet so damn good! Here are two of my favorite songs from A Tribe Called Quest. if you look at these videos, there's no booty shaking girls (although a few years later, Q-Tip does make some booty shaking videos), theres no over the top graphics and extreme effects, nothing.... just a good video that goes well with the song... unlike many of the videos today where what we're watching has absolutely nothing to do with the song. 

i have nooooo love for the music today.... it just sickens me. except! believe it or not, i do like some, SOME of the rap from downsouth..... hahha! yep... they tend to have some pretty good beats, which is what attracts me most to a song..... anywho, take a listen to these songs... brings back goooood memories doesn't it :)
