must learn: Ice-Skating

One thing is for sure, before my Spring Fever begins... I must learn how to ice-skate! 

When I was younger, we would go ice skating as class trips and I was ALWAYS sooo afraid while on the ice.... I would literally hold onto the side rails the ENTIRE time! I just don't like the thought of falling... or even worse, falling and having someone run over your fingers with their skates... OMG! That is totally the reason for my fear of ice skating. I haven't tried to ice skate in about 5 years or MORE! I remember I went a few years back but I didn't even bother renting skates 'cuz I knew I wasn't gonna do it. LMAOO! Yep it's that serious! So anyway... I'm thinking of asking Dan to take me to the rink in Prospect Park.... surprisingly I can't wait! I really need to get over this fear. I'm gonna do it and have Dan take pics too :)

Spring Feverrrrrrrr

SOOOOOOO I'm a Fall/Autumn type of girl... I hate the super nasty heat of the Summer and I don't like to be too cold in the Winter. So Fall is the purrfect season for me! Not too hot and not too cold. Spring is beautiful but because I prefer to be colder than hot I choose Fall. BUT despite all that, I am in a frenzy for Spring to get here! Winter hasn't been too harsh but the snow, THE SNOW.... I'm just kinda tired of it. Plus I've had ENOUGH of the heavy layering and super thick sweaters. I just wanna be free already... I wanna feel a nice warm breeze over my shoulders... I wanna hang out on someone's stoop at night, I wanna go to flea markets, I JUST WANT IT TO BE A BIT WARMERRRR.I know I'm sort of contradicting myself.... but dammit I miss the warmth! I made a list of things I miss the most about Spring/Summer:

1. Ice cold Lemonade

2. Pretty nature

3. Picnics & lying in the grass

4. Movies with a View

5. Habana Outpost on Fulton st.

6. Pretty toes & pretty sandals

7. Pretty natural lighting and flowy blouses and dresses

9. Sun-Kissed tan

Thank God it's the end of February... just about one month left and my Springy wishes will come true!

I'm assuming the person who designed this was purposely trying to imitate Georgia O'Keefe. If you didn't know, she's SUPER famous for making these flower paintings that look too much like a vagina!!!! Just look:

 

So what do you think, were they trying to imitate Miss O'Keefe? Or were they just making vaginee (vah-gsheen) cuppie cakes? LOL I think either way, they were thinking of these paintings for sure!
