Absolute MUST Read!

If you LOVE to read.... Doesn't matter what genre you like best... you'll LOVE this book because it has it all!

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is by a Swedish author who passed away back in 2004 right before he submitted this book and it's two sequels... it's part of a trilogy! The book was originally called "Men who Hate Women" and if you read the book, you'll understand exactly why he chose that title at first. The story is about a girl from a wealthy family who goes missing. After 40 years her disappearance is still a mystery and still completely unsolved. Then comes Mikael Blomkvist, a journalist that was hired to solve the case along with super genius hacker Lisbeth Salander. That's the gist of it but theres soooo much more... you'd just have to read it. The crimes committed in the story mostly refer to Biblical scriptures and stories and women are the main victims.... which can make this book very disturbing at some points. With that fact... I don't think this book is for everyone but I still SERIOUSLY suggest you read it....if I can handle the disturbing scenes... you can, cuz Lord knows I get freaked out by everything LOL. But YES, it's that good!

I first seen this book featured in Time Out New York magazine. I read the summary because I believe they gave it 5 stars.... and right then I decided I MUST read this book! And I'm glad I did! I'm actually about to read it again because i need to get the second part "The Girl who Played with Fire" and I want the story to be fresh! The first book I believe dropped in Sep '08 and then the second dropped in July '09. The third, "The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" will drop on May 25, 2010 and I can't FREAKIN wait! Be sure to pick these books up at your local bookstore.... they're a DEFINITE must read!
